That's what I've spent the last five years building Rose & Thistle Social to do.

It started in 2020, in lockdown, with an Instagram blog called Marketing in Scotland - quick and simple marketing tips for business owners trying to stay visible through the pandemic. Then it turned into something bigger: A stream of business owners asking if I'd help them apply this stuff properly. So I did.

Five years and 100+ clients later, working across sport, healthcare, weddings, beauty, real estate, mental health and lifestyle, the same pattern keeps showing up. The founders who win on Instagram aren't the loudest, the most polished, or the most consistent. They're the most intentional. They know exactly who they're talking to, what they want that person to do next, and how to make every post move the needle.

That's what I teach. It's what Rose & Thistle Social is built around.

In summer 2026, I did the thing I ask my clients to do all the time: make a bold, intentional move toward the next version of the business.

Rose & Thistle is relocated from Scotland to Dubai. Bringing the business to a city full of ambitious women building exactly the kind of brands I love working with. The model has always been borderless, I work with clients across the UK, Europe and beyond, and now in the UAE.
